Chemical Peel

We provide three chemical peel options- Dr.esthe’s Goat Milk peel, iS Clinical’s Fire and Ice peel and the Cosmelan to address various skin concerns.

  • A solution is applied to the skin to remove the outermost layers to improve the appearance of acne, fine lines, scarring, melasma, pigment, and texture.

  • This peel combines AHAs, BHAs, and PHAs to exfoliate dead skin cells with the moisturizing properties of goat milk to leave the skin balanced and moisturized—no downtime with this peel.

    BENEFITS:

    • exfoliation of dead skin cells
    • brighter skin without irritation
    • soothes dry and damaged skin

  • Combines the resurfacing power of a peel with the soothing feel of a facial with no downtime. It’s designed to treat blemishes and reduce fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots while providing a smoothing and hydrating effect.

    BENEFITS:

    • reduces blemishes and breakouts
    • reduces fine lines and wrinkles
    • improves pigmentation
    • improves skin tone
    • reduces dry and dead skin cells

  • Results vary by client; however, 3-6 treatments are recommended to achieve optimal results.

  • • Provide the name of all medications to your skin care professional.

    • Always apply broad-spectrum sunscreen daily and avoid the gym 24 hours before.
    • Do not use aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (ex. Advil) for at least 7-10 days before a peel.

  • • Post peel: day 3, you may experience mild to moderate shedding depending on the depth of the peel and the number of layers applied.
    • There can be dryness and tightening of the skin. Make sure your skin is well hydrated with a protective moisturizer to assist with peeling.
    • Superficial peels have little downtime, so you may not experience peeling.
    • You may develop small whiteheads; note this is NOT A BREAKOUT, do not pick.
    • You may notice mild redness after the peel if you have a lighter complexion.

    • Wait five days after the peel for electrolysis, facial waxing, mechanical exfoliation or depilatories.
