• Avoid IPL/laser procedures two weeks prior.
• No waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis five days prior.
• Notify the clinic of topical or oral prescriptions, as treatment may need to be rebooked.
• Avoid unprotected sun exposure or sunburn at least one week before.
• No shaving the face on the day of the procedure to avoid skin irritation.
• No alcohol or caffeine 24 to 48 hours before the treatment.

• Avoid excess sun exposure and tanning or risk hyper or hypo-pigmentation and sensitizing the skin.
• Do not apply makeup immediately after treatment.
• Continue to wear SPF 30+ daily.
• Cleanse face at bedtime with a gentle cleanser and tepid water.
• Avoid sweaty exercise, saunas, and swimming for at least 48 hours.
• Avoid using AHAs/BHAs, exfoliants, vitamin C, and retinol for 3-5 days.
